Casting

Joanna Jones has been involved in Casting since leaving school at 16 years of age.

Having worked at Lime Pictures (formerly Mersey Television) for 11 years, she was Casting Assistant of hundreds on commercials and programmes such as Channel 4’s Brookside and Hollyoaks, BBC’s popular children’s show Grange Hill and ITV’s Bonkers written by Sally Wainwright.

Since leaving Lime Pictures, Joanna has cast a number of Productions including Miracle Productions' award winning 15 Minutes that shook the world, North West Vision funded film, Leave Taking and Independent feature Shoot. 

Joanna finished working on Miracle Productions second feature film, Reds & Blues: The Ballad of Dixie and Kenny towards the end of last year and has several projects in the pipeline for 2011.

The first being The Hiding Place. This epic horror film spans as far back as the 1700's. It's very clever, psychological and brutal.

Filming later this year in 2011 or early next year 2012.

Although a lot of the main cast are high profile actors, we are also looking for 10 x boys & girls - playing 17/18 years who all must be stunning looking and very physically fit. Two of them (one of each gender) will be main parts.

Bananafish recently cast Saint Dracula.

Shot in 3D, Saint Dracula follows Clara, a dynamic and young girl who joins religious life soon after her University. Her decision to follow the vocation is welcomed by the family. During the initial days of her life in the convent life is smooth but as days go by she is visited by a shadow at nights which shatters her life forever.The shadow identified as a Count from yore is after his long lost love.

Director and Producer Rupesh Paul is an Indian film director, screenwriter and poet. He is the founder and President of Cinéma vérité, an alternative movie production company.
